Speed, Agility & Change of Direction

Speed, Agility & Change of Direction sessions will focus on enhancing player's speed, footwork, reaction running mechanics, movement, and dynamics on and off the ball. All exercises will directly relate to the game; hence, some exercises will take place without the ball. Speed, agility, and the ability to change directions as efficiently as possible have become invaluable parts of the game, and players should see improvement in their overall acceleration, deceleration, footwork and running mechanics, with and without the ball.

Individual Player Technical Development

Individual Player Technical Development sessions will focus on the individual player's overall technical development. The 5-week program will cover a different topic each week and is meant to improve the player's individual technical ability with the ball. These intense, 1-hour sessions will cover topics from ball control, dribbling, passing to ball striking in transition and other technical areas such as controlling and striking aerial balls (volleying techniques). Players will work in pairs or small groups with other players at their developmental level to improve on several areas they otherwise would not have the opportunity to work on during the weekly team training/practices.
