Summer 2023 Camps
Registration for all 2023 Summer Camps is now open!!
FC ATHLETICO Summer camp registration is open to FC ATHLETICO and non-FC ATHLETICO players. FC ATHLETICO will host a series of four camps throughout the summer of 2023.
Location: Stumpy Creek Park. 160 Stumpy Creek Rd, Mooresville, NC.
“Street Soccer” Skills and Ball Mastery Camp
Date: Monday, June 12 – Thursday, June 15
Time: 9:00am – 12:00 pm
Registration Closes: June 1, 2023
Cost: $175 (does not include processing fee)
Age Group: U7-U15 (2016-2007) Boys and Girls
Experience Level: All
Camp Description: The “Street Soccer” Skills and Ball Mastery Camp is structured to improve players’ technique and problem-solving in tight areas. Street soccer is standard in all parts of the world due to its impact on individual player development. This camp is ideal for players looking to improve their overall game from a technical level and gives them confidence as they step onto the field.

Fundamentals, Skills, and Technique Camp
Date: Monday, June 26 – Thursday, June 29
Time: 9:00am -4:00pm
Registration Closes: June 15, 2023
Cost: $375 (does not include processing fee)
Age Group: U7-U15 (2016-2007) Boys and Girls
Experience Level: All
Camp Description: The full-day Fundamentals, Skills, and Technique Camp is structured to improve a player’s technique and ball control and introduce skills that can be used in games. The camp covers many areas, from dribbling to passing to ball striking. This camp is ideal for players looking to improve different aspects of their game.

Attacking, Finishing and Goalkeeper Camp
Date: Monday, July 10 – Thursday, July 13, 2023
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Registration Closes: July 1, 2023
Cost: $375 (does not include processing fee)
Age Group: U7-15 (2016-2007) Boys and Girls
Experience Level: All
Camp Description: The full-day Attacking & Finishing Camp improves the player’s attacking in 1v1 and 2v1 situations while also focusing on finishing inside the 18 yds (ca. 16 m) box. A camp for players of different experience levels will include speed, agility, and change of direction designed to enhance players’ speed, agility, running mechanics and movement efficiency during the game. This camp aims to improve the player’s footwork, speed with the ball in front of the goal and finishing in front of the goal. Goalkeepers will work with our goalkeeper coaching staff on goalkeeping fundamentals, shot-stopping, footwork, distribution (in line with the club Methodology) and basic/advanced handling. Elite Preseason Camp
Date: Monday, July 24 – Thursday, July 27
Time: 9:00am-12:00pm
Registration Closes: July 15, 2023
Cost: $175 (does not include processing fee)
Age Group: U9-16 (2015-2006) Boys and Girls
Experience Level: Competitive
Elite Preseason Camp Description: The Elite Preseason Camp is for players looking to prepare for the season ahead. Open to competitive players between U9-16. This camp will cover various topics, from attacking + defending in transition, speed & agility, technical + tactical understanding (player roles on the field within the club Methodology) and fitness exercises to prepare them for the season ahead. This camp is for players with at least two years of competitive soccer experience.

Additional Info
1. All campers will receive a T-shirt on the first day of camp.
2. Campers must bring their own soccer ball, shin-guards, snack and water bottle.
Injury or Impairment:If your child is carrying any injuries, has an illness or is in any way impaired – please reach out to the camp director at camps@fcathletico.com, or charltonm@fcathletico.com
Please remember to bring any medication or medical devices that would aid in their stability. If your child experiences COVID symptoms, please keep them home and inform the camp director.
Bad Weather: In the event of adverse weather, any cancelled camp days will be made up on the Friday of that camp week at the same time.

If rain is excessive and grass fields are unusable, camp will be moved to the FC ATHLETICO Soccer Academy, 159 Raceway Dr. Mooresville, NC, 28117.
Cancellations: If a player is unable to attend camp due to a COVID diagnosis, you will receive a full refund.
All summer camps will follow the governmental guidance that is in effect at the times of the camp for the location of the camp.
Refund Policy: If a child is unable to attend a camp and at least a 10 day notice is given prior to the start of camp, a refund of your payment less than a $50 service fee will be processed.
