Coach Tinashe Mugabe - Owner/Executive Club Director
Though he was born in the United States, "Coach T" grew up in Zimbabwe before returning to the United States at 18 to attend college at UNCW where he studied International Business. After graduating from UNCW, Tinashe spent time playing in Australia and in Germany until returning to the United States where he moved to Mooresville and started FC ATHLETICO.
Coach Nick Brindley - Partner/Assistant Club Director

Nick was born and raised in the English countryside of Northamptonshire. At the age of 16, Nick left his home and spent four years in North London where he joined the "Protec Football Academy' and 'Barnet FC'. In 2007, Nick brought his soccer career to the United States where he spent four years at Pfeiffer University, earning a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science
Prior to his new role with FCA, Nick served as a USSDA Director within CSA. He also served as the Youth Academy Director at LNSC, helping develop their younger boys program into, what was at the time, one of the strongest groups in the region. In addition to Nick’s work at the club level, he has also served as an Assistant Coach with Catawba College Men’s Soccer program as well as a NC Olympic Development Program staff coach.
He has a tremendous amount of playing experience, having played in France – where he grew up, as well as in Germany, Egypt, and South Korea, where he ended his playing career.
Jeremy will begin working with the club immediately. He will serve as the Technical Director, and the Director of the Club Methodology.
In this role, he will be overseeing the implementation of the club training plan across all age groups, and lead Coaching Education sessions to ensure all teams, from U6-U19 are receiving the same level of coaching.
Carlos will work with our U8-U12 age groups, and serve as the director, and point of contact for all fall/spring FC ATHLETICO tournaments, including 6v6 tournaments in the summer.
Relocating from Florida with his family, Joel will begin working with the club on the 15th of February. Joel will also serve as an additional point of contact related to club schedules, and communication between coaches and Team Managers.
