Tinashe Mugabe
Founder and Club President

FC ATHLETICO founder Tinashe Mugabe was born in the United States and grew up in Gweru, Zimbabwe. At 18, Tinashe returned to the United States and attended the University of North Carolina - Wilmington, where he studied International Business, having studied in Valencia, Spain.

Nick Brindley

(2007-2004 Birth Year) U15+ Boys & Girls

English countryside of Northamptonshire. At 16, Nick left his home and spent four years in North London, where he joined the "Protec Football Academy' and 'Barnet FC'. In 2007, Nick moved to the United States and spent four years at Pfeiffer University, earning a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science.

Charlton Muhlauri
Program Director Junior Boys and Girls

(2015-2012 Birth Year) U7-U10 Boys & Girls
Charlton joined FC ATHLETICO in the spring of 2020 having served as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Northeastern University (Boston, MA) where he studied Political Science and International Affairs. “Charlie” previously coached at the youth level for New England Sachems (Winchester Ma). Charlton will serve as the Director of the U7-10 Boys and Girls Program.

Matthew Livingston
Classic Boys and Girls Program Director

U13-U15 Boys and Girls (2011-2009)

Matthew Livingston joined FC ATHLETICO in August 2022 from Charlotte Soccer Academy. As he is affectionately known, Coach Matt brings a tremendous wealth of experience, having coached in youth soccer and high school coaching experience.

Abraham Badlissi
Video Analysis Director & VEO Coordinator

Abraham joined FC ATHLETICO in 2022, completing his MBA from the University of New Hampshire. Abraham brings a wealth of experience from his season coaching at the renowned Real Madrid Academy in Spain.

Abraham will oversee the 2009 state and national girls program for FC ATHLETICO while serving as an assistant for the 2008 girls program. In his role with FC ATHLETICO, Abraham will also oversee club video game analysis through FC ATHLETICO's partnership with Veo.

Ken Hassler

Ken Hassler joined FC ATHLETICO in the summer of 2023. Ken is entering his 11th season as Catawba College (NCAA Div. II) Men's Soccer coach in fall 2023.

Hassler graduated cum laude from Plymouth State College (N.H.) in 1985, earning a bachelor's degree in physical education. He earned his master's degree in physical education (sport psychology concentration) at Ithaca College in 1991.

A Jason Stock
Intermediate Boys and Girls Program Director

U13-U15 Boys and Girls (2011-2009)

Jason Stock joined FC ATHLETICO from Impact Futbol Club. Jason joined FC ATHLETICO in 2020 and was the club's Intermediate Program Director. Jason holds his UEFA A licence and oversees the 2008 Boys and 2008 Girls state and National program.

Jeremy Ngameni
Club Technical Director

Jeremy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, having coached at Sockers in Chicago, where he helped build the club into one of the top clubs in the country. After several years at Sockers, Jeremy moved on to work in the MLS Academy program with the New York Red Bulls.
For FC ATHLETICO to maintain and surpass our high standards, our players must work with coaches with this knowledge and expertise.

Jeremy holds his UEFA B licence, which he earned in the spring of 2023. He will serve as the Technical Director and the Director of the Club Methodology. In this role, he will oversee the implementation of the club training plan across all age groups and lead Coaching Education sessions to ensure all teams from U6-U19 are receiving the same level of coaching.
